How to Streamline Your Email Marketing Efforts

Bulk Emails using Quick Campaign

As businesses grow, it becomes increasingly important to keep track of their customer base and engage with them through targeted communication. One of the most effective ways to do this is through email marketing campaigns, which can be used to reach out to leads, accounts, and contacts with personalized messaging.

Quick campaigns are a powerful tool within Microsoft Dynamics 365 that allow you to easily create and send bulk emails to specific groups of customers. In this blog post, we will focus on how to use quick campaigns to send emails to leads.

Prerequisites:

1. Ensure that you have the necessary security roles to create and manage quick campaigns. In order to create and manage quick campaigns, you must have one of the following security roles:

Marketing Manager

Marketing Professional

System Administrator

System Customizer

2. Create an email template that you will use as the basis for your email campaign. To create an email template in Dynamics 365, navigate to the Marketing area and select Email Templates. From here, click New to create a new email template and give it a name that identifies the purpose of the email.

Steps

Step 1:

Go to the Leads view,

Navigate to the Leads area in Dynamics 365 by selecting the Sales module from the App Launcher and clicking on the Leads tab.

Step 2:

Select the leads you want to include in the quick campaign Select the leads you want to target by checking the boxes next to their names. You can select multiple leads by holding down the Shift or Ctrl key while clicking on the lead names.

Step 3:

Click on More Command Options Once you have selected the leads, click on the More Command Options button (the ellipsis icon) in the command bar at the top of the screen.

Step 4:

Select Quick Campaign From the More Command Options menu, select Quick Campaign. This will open the Quick Campaign form.

(We have 3 options, I'm gonna go with the first one)

This popup will appear. Click "Next"

Note:

When creating a Quick Campaign in Dynamics 365, we select either a marketing list or a static list that contains the leads or contacts we want to target with the campaign.

In this case, since we have already selected the leads we want to include in the campaign, we do not need to select a marketing list or static list in the Quick Campaign form. We can simply proceed with Step 5 to name the campaign and continue with the rest of the steps as described.

Step 5:

Name the quick campaign Enter a name for the quick campaign that identifies the purpose of the campaign.

Click "Next"

Step 6:

Set the campaign type Select the Campaign Type as Email.

Step 7 (Optional ):

Select a Queue If you want to specify a queue where the campaign activities will be created, select a queue from the Queue field in the Quick Campaign form.

Click "Next"

Step 8 (Optional):

Set the email template In the Email area, select the email template you want to use for the campaign.

Step 9:

Configure your email if you didn't choose a template,
